The reluctant mob lawyer by Donald L’abbate

In the Reluctant Mob Lawyer, the fifth book in the Broken Lawyer series, wise cracking attorney Jake Carney agrees to represent Little Tony Savino in what appeared to be a simple double homicide case. But matters prove to be far from simple when Jake discovers a conspiracy to frame his client. Not knowing how deep the conspiracy runs and caught in the middle of Mafia family war and a possible gang war between the Mafia and the Russian mob, Jake has his work cut out for him.

4 stars

This is my first book by the author but won’t be the last because I need to know more about the lawyer and his traveling hate .

The story was suspenseful and intriguing because there aren’t many books that I’ve read where the main character, especially a man , gives so much thought and interest to what his lovely partner wants and deserves.

He is really putting in balance his job and what that entails with his future along Grace.

Apart from some minor repetitions, this was a really great story that I highly recommend especially after reading the author’s note.
